A black bear decided to do a little browsing in a Wisconsin market, checking out the liquor department before climbing into the beer cooler.

The 125-pound black bear shocked the customers who were doing their shopping at the Marketplace Foods in Hayward, located about 140 miles northeast of Minneapolis. The bear had no apparent interest in anything or anyone but hanging out in the beer cooler. He climbed up twelve feet onto a shelf where he sat for an hour.

The employees got everyone safely out of the store and alerted animal control. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials tranquilized the bear and removed him from the store.

The employees reported that the bear seemed exceptionally content to just stay in the beer cooler. By the way, he did not drink any of the beers so we have to assume that he was just there to chill out.
